Terms and Conditions


When making a booking please read and accept our terms and conditions.




All courses must be paid for in full prior to commencement.  Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card.  We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express.



Date and Time Changes


Weekly training sessions – Date and time changes to lessons may be permitted with a minimum of 24 hours notice (subject to availability).  Any changes made within 24 hours of scheduled lesson times, will not be permitted.  Non-attendance to scheduled lessons will result in forfeit of that lesson.


One or two day intensive courses – date and time changes may be permitted with a minimum of 5 days notice (subject to availability).  Any changes made within 5 days of scheduled course commencement,  may be subject to an additional fee.

Non attendance to a scheduled intensive course will result in forfeit of that training day and will not be rescheduled.  Fees for the non-attended day will not be refunded.





Any notice of cancellation or change to the course must be made in writing to Australia English Institute. Cancellations or changes will incur an administration fee.





If written notice of cancellation is made 28 days or more before the date of commencement, 85% of fees will be refunded. After this time the following refunds will apply:- between 28 – 15 days prior to the start date 70% of total fees will be refunded; less than 14 days before the start date, 50% of total course fees will be refunded; less than 24 hours of course commencement 20% of total course fee will be refunded.


Fees will not be reimbursed if the participant arrives late or departs before the end of their program. No refunds will be made after you have commenced studying.


Courses will not commence until full payment has been received.


Course fees are not transferable to another person or institution.




Students are not insured by Australia English Institute  (AEI). The student must take out insurance against cancellation, accidents, injury, illness, loss of property, theft or any accidental damage to the participant’s property or damage caused by the participant to the property of others.     AEI  teachers will not accept responsibility for any injury or damage to any person or property of participants during the course.







All course confirmation details and other relevant information, will be sent after full fees have been received.



Australia English Institute  (AEI) shall endeavour to place the student with the most suitable teacher.


AEI reserves the right to expel any student, for theft, any criminal offence or unacceptable behaviour (without refund).  AEI reserves the right to allocate a student with more than one teacher, or change the teacher before, on or during a course.
